@ Jess – the vaccine does come with warnings about not being fully tested. In fact, children under 10 are not yet allowed to receive it in Aus because of this. But they’re quite happy to use the rest of us as guinea pigs, in particular those considered high risk – such as pregnant women and elderly people!

@ Anthony – it’s always about the money, isn’t it? Reminds me of a conversation I had today with a client about the ever-decreasing ‘healthy’ level of ideal cholesterol. Funny how it keeps dropping, and the drug companies just clean up more and more.

@ Steph – the truth is that I haven’t looked into that particular side of things since taking this stance on vaccines. I did have a maleria injection 10 years ago. I’d need to do some research – would be interested to know where others stand on this.

hey kat i am interested to know- do you get vaccinated for maleria etc if you are going to countries where these sorts of diseases are prevalent? when i went to vietnam i had to get quite a few different ones done.

I too am against vaccinations, I don’t believe the stats – swine flu is not the plague… it is a media driven marketing campaign for drug companies to sell more drugs.
Eat right and exercise = health
Say no to drugs!!!!

I assumed it would have been illegal to allow a vaccine to be administered which is so detrimental to health. Don’t vaccines and medications have to pass stringent testing before being provided to the public? Shouldn’t the government/ pharmaceutical companies have to advertise that a “vaccine” hasn’t passed clinical trials if it is accessible/ forced on us? If not, I think BIG warning labels should be mandatory…

@ NotaPundit – I hadn’t heard those stats on the ’76 outbreak. Wow. Scary stuff. Although not overly surprising considering the similar truths that are uncovered when delving into the history of many commonly used vaccinations.

@ Laurie – it always pays to question, doesn’t it? Sometimes it’s tiring being constantly labeled a troublemaker, but it beats laying down and taking the latest ‘health’ advice or assistance without comment or query. And yet it never fails to amaze me how most people that something must be good for us just because doctors and/or the government say so! As Brenda says – where is the money going?

I think Ill pass on this one. I decided long time ago that I wont take any flu shot. I have health issues to risk adding insult to injury. I will try my best to prevent getting the flu via other methods.

Thanks for the info, keep it out there! I live in NY and have followed the protests here closely. Question, if the health care professionals are worried where does this leave the masses? Don’t you think the professionals could have some “inside” info they base their concerns from? Why would we let our children be the giunea pigs and give them the first doses available? I beleive people are smarter than the government gives them credit for and with all the screw ups why would we “trust” the pharmicutial companies? Trust your own gut and question the research!

It is good to engage conversation about this subject. Thanks for passing on information since I don’t believe the governments are going to represent the truth. We are very suspecious of this whole swine flu issue. We are much more afraid of the vaccine than the flu itself. There is a company or more than one company that is going to make a lot of money on this vaccine. I wish we could follow the money and see who this benefits because it isn’t going to be us.

Since there are hospital workers in New York who are protesting and refusing to take the shot…………that says a lot right there.

I’m so glad you posted about this! We’ve done some vaccines with my son (MMR, etc.) but turned down others (chicken pox, all flu vaccines, etc.). Our state has talked of forcing the H1N1 vaccine on all school-age children. If they do, my son will be adding the phrase “civil disobedience” to his vocabulary.

In the 1976 US outbreak of swine flu, the vaccine took more lives than the virus. About 500 people are estimated to have been killed, paralyzed, or otherwise suffered from Guillain-Barré Syndrome as a result of vaccination, while there was only one swine flu death.

Scientists insist that the new vaccines are better, safer, but the truth is that clinical trials just began at the end of August, so those test subjects just received their second doses a couple of weeks ago, and are just entering the “protection” window now. The data is still in the collection phase — it hasn’t been analyzed or published or even completed, yet, the vaccines are already being mass produced and administered to the general public!

That is just insane. The US government’s plan is to “monitor vaccine recipients closely” which is like monitoring the barn door after the horse has left.
